what can a gender-sexuality alliance do for my school?
GSAs are student-led groups who organize together to make their schools safer for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. The goals of your alliance can be anything you need them to be for your school community! Scroll to learn more about what your GSA can do!
SUPPORT
A safer space on campus for 2SLGBTQIA+ students to be together, and discuss topics relevant to them with support and privacy.
CELEBRATE
Organize fun events for your alliance and school, and come to Youth Project events together, like Queer Prom (2026 dates coming soon)!
EDUCATE
Share knowledge within your school and wider community through public display boards and classroom workshops.
ADVOCATE
Populate your school library with stories that you love, push for 2SLGBTQIA+ history in your curriculum, campaign for accessible neutral bathrooms, or anything else you see your community needs!
